Fairy with Orb

She would have none of it and kept flittering about the page. Those darn flittering fairies. Today, I put my coffee cup down on the edge of her skirt to hold her in place while I traced her slipper, but she soon wriggled free. She giggled and whirled around my head not letting me get a good look at her wings. So, this drawing was finally completed from memory. She still has not told me what the orb in her hand was. Although, she got quite disturbed when it fell into the coffee cup and almost burned her fingers when trying to retrieve it. I told her I would get it back if she would tell me what it did. Her tiny eyes started to fill with tears. So, I got it out with the teaspoon and handed it back. Why is it I always cater to these rascally little creatures?
